Overview
Class 4 Diode Gigaa Lasers for use in veterinary therapy, surgery and dentistry. Units can be therapy-only, diode laser surgery-only, or combined therapy and surgery. Suitable for general veterinary practice, specialist veterinary centres, physiotherapy and rehabilitation specialists, and universities. By changing hand pieces it is possible to perform therapy, surgery, dentistry, percutaneous intervertebral disc decompression, tooth whitening and other procedures.

Recommended configuration
We recommend Class 4 Diode lasers running 810nm and/or 980nm wavelengths with outputs between 6 W and 15 W to cover most general veterinary therapeutic and surgical needs. Other available wavelengths include 532nm, 635nm, 670nm, 940nm, 1064nm, 1210nm and 1470nm. Power outputs can range up to 200 W depending on the application.

Class IV therapeutic lasers — use and effects
If the laser ray is applied defocused (not point-exact), it can be used for laser irradiation with shorter irradiation times and longer intervals between repeat treatments. This treatment mode produces anti-inflammatory, analgesic and cure-promoting effects and can be used for healing wound disturbances and for locomotor system conditions (acute and chronic joint inflammations, muscle inflammations, tendon inflammations or tenosynovitises).
