Product Details Minimally invasive and simple to implant: The temperature data logger is hermetically sealed and made from biocompatible housing, ceramic and epoxy, and is designed for simple animal implantation and retrieval. The unique ceramic housing guarantees biocompatibility. Application: Ideal for a variety of studies on both free-ranging and captive animals where a detailed temperature profile is needed, including baseline measurements, measuring immune response to infection, testing vaccine efficacy and safety pharmacology, and measuring physiological changes and circadian rhythm. Stress-free measurements: The logger measures temperature automatically, providing a comprehensive data set throughout the research with no disturbance to the animal. Detailed temperature profile: With a long battery life, the logger can be used for both long-term and short-term studies with short intervals (down to once every second), giving a detailed temperature profile. Battery life is up to 9 years when sampling at 10-minute intervals. Single or multiple intervals: Two modes for sampling: single interval throughout the period or multiple intervals.
